Behind The Scenes - Working with D Morby Media
When my wife and I purchased our first home, we worked with a fantastic local Real Estate Agent (Erik Wright of Social House Real Estate Group) to explore options. It was difficult to find exactly what we were looking for and we visited many options with Erik. When we checked out listings online, we quickly evaluated the houses based on the photos we saw - even without realizing it. Houses with high-quality photography made it easier to picture ourselves living there. Houses with photos featuring lighting, open spaces, and bright colors naturally felt more inviting. When photos were confusing or didn’t show important angles or rooms, we were confused and less interested in seeing the homes in person.
High-quality photography can make or break your real estate listings. My own home-buying experience is one of the reasons I was inspired to start offering real estate photography, helping local realtors take their listings to the next level. Through well-lit, intentional angles, potential buyers will see your listings and feel like your property could be their next home. If your photos don’t showcase the house well, you’re missing out on sales opportunities. I’d love to help you overcome this obstacle and reach more buyers in your next season of real estate.
Real Estate Photography Equipment
Your home is worth the investment - so I’ve invested in training and high-quality equipment to capture quality photos. I recently upgraded my equipment to include a new wide-angle lens for real estate photography - a Sigma 10-18mm lens. For real estate photo shoots, I use this lens, along with my Sony FX30 camera, to capture a wide-angle of every room. I edit photos in Adobe Lightroom and provide you with high-quality edited photos to showcase your listings. I also offer aerial drone media to show your listing from above, which was a big selling point to me and my wife when we looked at listings online. We appreciated being able to see the yard, street, neighborhood, and surrounding community - and your buyers will too.
I bring my equipment to a real estate photoshoot so you don’t have to provide anything. Once you’ve worked with your sellers to clean and stage the home, I show up and take photos for you - checking one more thing off your long to-do list as a real estate agent. I want to help you behind the scenes so your job is easier and so you have more interested viewers on your listings.
Let’s Work Together
If you’re a Real Estate Agent in the Southeast Michigan area - including Northville, Novi, Canton, South Lyon, Brighton, Howell, Livonia, and Wixom areas - I’d love to connect with you. I’m passionate about helping local businesses grow, including real estate agents who are serving our community.
